Join the NCTA Harbor Springs Chapter for a hike of Section 11 south towards French Farm Lake (2.7 miles). The trail includes views of French Farm Lake, contains many puncheon walkways and goes through hardwoods and pine forests. Part of the trail follows the Northwestern State Trail and is paved between Trails End Road and Mackinaw City. It also crosses a gas and oil pipeline.

Meet at North Central State Trailhead on Mackinaw Crossings Dr.; free parking lot (GPS 45.780311, -84.730280).
