Join the NCTA Harbor Springs Chapter for a hike of Section 7 north towards Lakeview Road (2.8 miles). This is a very vigorous hike. The trail goes through Lake Michigan sand dunes covered with oak and maple trees along with pines. It has a few steep hills. It is within Wilderness State Park, so Park rules apply. The Park marks trail intersections.

Meet at Sturgeon Bay Trail Trailhead, widened road parking (GPS 45.679888, -84.967291). Please note there are two Sturgeon Bay Trails. One is a county road between Pleasantview Road and Lakeshore Road. The other is a two-track trail within Wilderness State Park.
