Got to get outside and get rid of that cabin fever? Enjoy some time in the fresh air while getting some exercise with the NCTA Hiawatha Shore-to-Shore Chapter. Oh, and the views here are awesome.

Meet at the northern crossing of the NCNST and Dick Road (USFS Road 3139), about five miles south of M-28. Dick Road is about the only plowed road that heads south off M-28 between Soldier Lake Campground and Strongs. (GPS coordinates: 46.293010, -84.902688; map view).

The length of the hike will vary depending on your abilities, motivation, and trail conditions that day. It could be an out-and-back hike, but if conditions allow we will carpool to M-28 and hike south to Dick Road (six miles).

After the hike we will gather at a nearby location for refueling and refreshment. We will need to record your name and contact information before the hike.
