You have never worked so FUN as you will when you join the crew from Hiawatha Shore-to-Shore! The Brevort Lake area of the North Country Trail (NCT) has a trail improvement project that needs to be finished. There is a gravel turnpike to install in a wet, muddy area.

Bring boots/footwear that are comfortable in mud and dirt, gloves (a couple of pairs), a change of clothes, water, a sack lunch, personal first aid, insect repellent, sunscreen, and a friend or two! We will need to record your name and contact information on the work day.

There will be some walking (a couple of miles at the farthest) and carting of tools to get to these locations. We have some tools available and can find one to fit your hand.

We may head to a local restaurant after the work day for refueling and refreshment. Questions can be texted to (906) 322-2617 or emailed to hss@northcountrytrail.org.
