Join our Superior Shoreline Chapter and Steph Liguori from the NCT’s National Park Service in an evening Zoom presentation about the piping plover.

The piping plover is an endangered bird that lives and breeds on Great Lake shorelines. We will talk and watch videos about the plover’s life history, curious behaviors, interesting and tragic population decline, critical habitat areas, and how you can aid in the bird’s protection while working or hiking on the NCT. This presentation is geared towards Trail areas that are on or near Great Lake shorelines, but all who are interested are invited to attend.
