Premier segment information available on NCTA’s website

A total of 18 “premier segments” have been identified on NCTA’s website with the goal of showcasing some of the best hikes available on our trail. So far, the listing includes:

* 3 day hikes and a weekend hike in North Dakota
* 2 day hikes and a backpack in Minnesota
* 2 day hikes and a weekend hike in Wisconsin
* 3 day hikes and a backpack in Michigan
* 1 day hike, a weekend hike, and a backpacking loop in Ohio
* 1 day hike in Pennsylvania

On these hikes, you can experience waterfalls, raging rivers slicing through deep gorges, tranquil backcountry lakes, tall prairie grasses, and abundant wildlife.
