The 2nd Annual “24 Hours of the Chip” is a success!

Volunteers from the Star of the North, Itasca Moraine, and Arrowhead Chapters helped to mow about 20 miles of the North Country Trail within the Chippewa National Forest near Longville and Remer this past weekend.

24 Hours of the Chip volunteers included: Harry Schlieff; Phil Nimps, Brian & Barb Pavek, Harlan Liljequist, Doug Thomas, Carol Zazubek, and John Leinen – Star of the North Chapter; Doug Baker, Larry Best, Tom and Mary Moberg, and Ken Zimmer – Arrowhead Chapter; and Carter Hedeen – Itasca Moraine Chapter.  Forest Service staff who helped out included: Wade Sandstrom, Ray Burpo, Tasha Woodwick, and Darren Buckentin.
