Join the NCTA Allegheny National Forest Chapter as we ring in 2024 with a First Day Hike! We’ll hike south, out and back. Depending on the weather, snow depth, and energy of the participants, we could hike as far as the Hunter Station shelter and back (about 11 miles). Groups of hikers can turn back as desired.

We’ll meet no later than 10:00 a.m. on January 1 at the Henrys Mills Trailhead on Route 666. Please come prepared for the hike wearing appropriate layers for the weather, and bringing your own water and food. Friendly dogs are welcome. We hope to see you on the trail!
