Give back to the Border Route Trail by volunteering on a Wilderness Clearing Trip!

This is a self-supported backpack trip into the west side of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW). We’ll backpack about 1.7 miles from the Mucker Lake trailhead to the Topper Lake campsite. We’ll use hand tools to clear deadfalls and brush from the campsite towards the western edge of the BWCAW.

We will provide the permits, tools, and safety gear. You will need to bring personal gear (tent, cookware, etc), meals, snacks, hydration, etc.

Basecamp is Topper Lake, within the BWCAW.

Attendance is limited to nine. Registration is required.
