Join our Grand Traverse Chapter for an adventure through the jungles, mountains, caves and temples of Southeast Asia at our March monthly meeting! Denise DeKett will share her exciting adventure with travel partner, Roberta Spencer, as they trekked through jungle and over mountains, then swam to the world’s third largest cave. The caves of Hang En and Hang Son Doong have seen fewer visitors than the South Pole and are so vast they could accommodate a 747 passenger jet with ease. We’ll also hear about their cruise to the Ha Long limestone karsts, an island national park, and side trip to Angkor Wat and its surrounding buddhist temples in Cambodia. Come join us for a fascinating evening!
