Events

The NCTA Star of the North Chapter invites you to its spring cleanup, the first weekend of May. We will start out Friday morning with maintenance and safety training for volunteers, and discussing the projects we want to complete over the three days. There will be all types of trail maintenance work for every ability. You can come for one day or help all three.

We’ll meet at the Mabel Lake National Forest Campground, seven miles west of Remer at 8:00 a.m. (CT) every morning. Free camping will be available Thursday night through Monday morning if you would like. Bring your own gear and appropriate clothes for the weather and trail work. Breakfasts will be provided Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and suppers Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. No water will be available at the campground so bring your own. We hope you can join our event this year!
