From David Tosten – At the South end of Superior Hiking Trail in Jay Cooke State Park, the footbridge across the Saint Louis River is closed due to flooding that occurred in June 2012. Bridge repairs will not be completed until late summer in 2013.For more info contact the Superior Hiking Trail Association at (218) 834-2700, or contact Jay Cooke State Park at (218) 384-4610. You will have to find an alternate route.
