The NCTA Dakota Prairie Chapter is sponsoring a hike beginning at 7:30 a.m. on May 13. Hike and enjoy the birds on this hike with a bird interpreter. This will be an approximate 8 mile out-and-back hike taking about 4 hours with open prairie and oak savanna.

Terrain is primarily flat with some rolling hills on a gravel and sand trail. Bring a snack, plenty of water and binoculars if you have them. We will meet at Jorgen’s Hollow, the East Trailhead of the NCNST.
