Join the NCTA Harbor Springs Chapter for a hike of Section 10 north towards French Farm Lake (5.2 miles). The trail includes balsam, cedar and pine forests. It crosses Carp River and French Farm Lake dam. It includes many puncheon walkways over streams and wet areas. Two miles of the trail border French Farm Lake with many scenic views and waterfowl viewing in summer. Many lady slipper flowers and other flowers are likely to be in bloom during the time of this hike.

Meet at Section 10 Trailhead side road parking (GPS 45.727502, -84.829378).

We will be spotting cars to allow for a thru-hike option, as well as out-and-back. This means there might be two meeting places. Please reference our 2024 Hike Schedule for details or contact us at hrb@northcountrytrail.org with questions.
