Volunteer Vacations offered by AHS on NCT in 2011

The American Hiking Society will be offering several Volunteer Vacation trail work trips on the NCT in 2011. The specific trips include:
- Lonetree Wildlife Management Area in ND (July 11-16)
- Dakota Prairie-Sheyenne National Grasslands in ND (June 12-18)
- Snowbank/Kekekabic Trails in MN (August 19-28)
- Lakeshore Trail / NCT at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in MI-UP (2 separate trips: May 1-7 and May 15-21)
- Manistee National Forest in MI (July 24-30)
This is a great way to volunteer on the NCT with folks from the local chapter and from all over the U.S. In 2010, the NCTA hosted two Volunteer Vacations in North Dakota. Read more about them on the blog (Lonetree WMA & Sheyenne NG) to learn more about what the trips were like.
