Vermont side of the Lake Champlain Bridge to the Green Mountain National Forest
After crossing into Vermont from New York across the Lake Champlain Bridge, the Trail follows a road walk consisting of primarily dirt roads before joining with the Trail Around Middlebury (TAM) where it traverses agricultural fields, a river gorge, and scenic viewpoints before winding through quaint East Middlebury and entering the Green Mountain National Forest.
