As the heart and soul of this organization, our volunteers are the most important part of our story.
Many veteran hikers and backpackers have learned that trail work is a great way to express their love of the outdoors, get physical activity in the fresh air, connect with others who have shared values and make a meaningful contribution that will be enjoyed for generations to come. But you don’t have to get dirty to give back.
There are many ways to volunteer for the North Country Trail Association, from maintaining the trail or leading hikes to stuffing envelopes and sending out newsletters. No matter what your skill or interest, we have an opportunity for you.
