Join the NCTA Kekekabic Trail Chapter to clear brush and downed trees on the historic Kekekabic Trail in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW), primarily from the Bingshick Lake to the west end of Warclub Lake.

The crew will backpack approximately 3.5 miles from the Gunflint Trail to Bingshick Lake on May 26 to set up camp. From there, the crew will day hike from camp to areas that need to be cleared between Bingshick and Warclub Lakes. The daily hikes from camp may be up to 5.5 miles per day.

The work will be done with hand tools, such as small saws and loppers. Tools will be provided by the trip leader; crew members will provide their own meals and backpacking equipment. Crew members have the option to stay in bunkhouses at a local lodge on the Gunflint Trail the night before the trip (May 25).

This trip has a limited attendance of nine volunteers.
